GREELEY, Colo., Nov. 10, 2022 (Newswire.com) –
Randal J. Hruska has completed his new book, “Epiphany Through Songs”: a powerful spiritual work that guides readers in deepening their understanding of the Christian faith.
Randal writes, “From my college days, I began to remember songs and associate them with events in my life: for example, my first puppy love (“Mrs. Brown You’ve Got a Lovely Daughter”, Herman’s Hermits, 1965), my first date at the movies (“Let’s spend the night together”, Rolling Stones, 1967) and my first date swimming (“Crystal Blue Persuasion”, Tommy James and the Shondells, 1969) – you get the idea. My interest in Song Lyrics began early in my senior year of high school with the album Wednesday Morning, 3 AM, released in October 1964 by songwriters, artists, poets, and singers Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel. For me, it was a spiritual inspiration. first time in my life, I felt the need to understand the meaning of a poet’s words. There was so much depth, symbolism and challenging inference in biblical concepts. By the end of the year, I had written and performed some of their songs in an hour-long presentation to our senior English class.”
