Crowder’s “In the House” Goes to Number 1 on Hot Christian Songs – Billboard


Crowder, aka singer-songwriter David Crowder, puts his second number 1 on BillboardThe Hot Christian Songs chart powered by streaming, live streaming and sales, as “In the House” topped the chart dated March 12.

Crowder first led Hot Christian Songs with “Good God Almighty” for five weeks starting last April. On Christian Airplay, “In the House” dominates for a third week, up 2% to 10.3 million audience impressions, according to MRC Data. It also drew 1.4 million US streams during the tracking week.

Crowder co-wrote the single with Ben Glover and Jeff Sojka. The song is from Crowder’s album milk and honeywhich came in at No. 1 on the Top Christian Albums list last June, becoming its third leader.

Crowder has released 20 Hot Christian Songs entries, including eight top 10s. Its debut single, “I Am,” reached No. 3 in December 2013.

NEW ‘NAME’ IN THE TOP 10 Katy Nichole lands her first Hot Christian Songs top 10 as her freshman single “In Jesus Name (God of Possible)” explodes 12-3. The track jumped 51% to 1.7 million US streams in the week ending March 3 and debuted at No. 11 on Christian Streaming Songs. (His official video later premiered on March 4.)

The song – which Nichole wrote with Ethan Hulse and Jeff Pardo – has sold 3,900 downloads and topped Christian digital songs for a fourth week. On Christian Airplay, it lifts 15-12 for a new high, up 16% to 5.9 million impressions.

The 21-year-old from Mesa, Arizona has been buzzing on social media and has over 370,000 followers on TikTok. Signed to Centricity, she is working on her first album.
