Franklin Christian Church opens new sanctuary in Franklin

The Franklin Christian Church will hold a groundbreaking service for its new $12 million church at 4040 Clovercroft Road in Franklin on June 12, according to Minister David Welsh, the church’s pastor.

The June 12 service will be at 2 p.m., Welsh said. The church was opened for full use with a grand opening worship service on May 22, including tours of the new building, Welsh said.

The new building offers more space, including an auditorium and classroom and scholarship spaces, according to Welsh.

The church was previously located less than half a mile away at 4040 Murfreesboro Road.
