NASHVILLE, TN (CelebrityAccess) – One of the music industry’s leading independent publishing companies, Prescription Songs has announced the promotion of Christian Conant to director of A&R. He will be based out of their Nashville, TN office.
Conant’s diverse list of artists, songwriters and producers includes Fly before midnight, Joy Oladokun, Maddie Zahm, Matt Kozioland more.
“Christian has been working hard since the day he joined our team as A&R Coordinator,” shares Katie Fagan, A&R Nashville Manager. “He has a great ear for great songs and his varied taste in music has been a perfect addition to our A&R team. Writers love it, and so does the Nashville community. He was always a team player and I’m excited about this next chapter in his career – it’s well deserved.

Conant moved to Nashville in 2015 after graduating from high school in Akron, Ohio. He got his start in digital marketing before finding his calling while on tour managing various artists including Mitchell Tenpenny and The Way of the Band. After the tour, he found himself working in the publishing/A&R department of Riser House Entertainment before finally landing at Prescription Songs in September 2019.
